Handling Incorrectly Approved IACRA Applications

If the IACRA application was inadvertently submitted to the Registry as an “Approved” application but it should have been a “Disapproval”or “Discontinuance”, below are two very important steps that must be done as soon as possible:
  1. The Airmen Certification Branch (AFS-760) must be notified immediately to flag the airman’s record. (toll free 866-878-2498)
  2. FAX a complete corrected IACRA application package to AFS-760 identified as a “Corrected IACRA” along with a NOTE of explanation, as soon as possible to avoid the issuance of a permanent certificate to which the applicant is not entitled. (405-954-4105 fax)
